Obama to sign stimulus bill in Denver

President Barack Obama will sign the $787 billion federal stimulus package into law in Denver on Tuesday.
Obama will sign the bill Tuesday at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, according to several news reports. CNN was the first to report that Denver will be the signing location.
White House officials previously said that Obama would be stopping in Denver Tuesday to speak on behalf of the stimulus package, which Congress approved on Friday.
No other details of the president’s visit to Denver were released.
The president’s last visit to Colorado was on Nov. 1, a speech in Pueblo a day before he was elected president.
Last August, Obama addressed a packed house at Invesco Field at Mile High to accept the Democratic Party’s nomination for president at the conclusion of the Democratic National Convention here.
